Overview
Other People is a UC San Diego student literary magazine—collections of poetry, illustration, and design published each quarter. As Social Media Director, I owned the feed and campaign graphics that introduced each collection, promoted calls for work, and kept a recognizable visual language on Instagram.
Work spans edition covers (Winter 2023 *Eclipse*, Spring 2023 *Liminal*), editorial spreads shared as carousel posts, recruitment and deadline promos (design-team applications, QR-led posts), and a seasonal social system—paired organic shapes, bell-flower motifs, and type treatments for Spring vs. Winter campaigns, including year-mark posts for 2024.
- Brand & covers — physical print photography, Collection No. 5 / 6 cover art, and horizon logo lockups for profile headers
- Editorial social — poem spreads (e.g. *In the Cave She Walks Away*) formatted for square and story crops
- Campaign templates — isometric promo blocks, extended-deadline announcements, and repeatable floral / winter scene series
- Publishing rhythm — template-first workflow so weekly posts stayed on-brand during busy academic quarters
